This is the home place in Lawrence County, Symmes Township. It was on Buffalo-Olive Rd. where Indian Creek met Buffalo Creek. There was an original log cabin; house, barn and out buildings were added. When we visited in 1997, only the foundations to the buildings could be found; the land is now part of wilderness land of the State of Ohio.
